They were the family everyone admired
the family everyone wanted to be
the perfect family
everyone could see.

but that was on the outside
for what they didn't know
this family was not as perfect as can be
when they were in public they put on a show

but in this house was a world of hate

one night all was quiet and fine
the kids fast asleep in bed
the mom watching television
waiting up for their dad.

through the door

picked up a plastic bag and tied it to her head.

then he picked her up and tied her little feet
stripped her from her clothes
hung her from her closet
