Another Day At School

by Kinsey   Dec 2, 2004

"Another Day at school"
The school bell rings
people flood the halls
I leave the class
bolt for the bathroom
head to an empty stall
I lock the doork
my heart pounding
a tear streams down my face
I lean agains the wall
slide to the floor
no one there to stop me
no one even knows im missing
i pull my knees in close
bury my head in between
tears falling on the floor
to the puddle beneath me
school bell rings once again
I don't seem to hear
not that i really care
i reach deep in to my pockets
for the blade i carry
everywhere i go shinning in the lights
i see my reflection
see the pain in my eyes
the heavy expression on my face
pull up the sleeves of my hoodie
looking at the clean wrist
oly scars of time before
trembling
i press the blade down
watching as the skin splits
not feeling the pain
tears still falling, blood flowing
mixing toogether below
finally its over
i bandage quickly
trying to clean up
I hurry back to class
feeling weak and empty
thats how it ends
until the next day
its starts all over again.
