90 pills away from a healthy life.
90 pills a day to ease my strife.
90 in the way, when I'm with you.
90 pills a day to make it through.
I hate everything, I hate you
Leave me alone, that's what you should do.
Don't have a fit, don't lose your cool.
That's just the medication talking to you.
Can't live a day without poppin' the pills.
90 a day don't it give you the chills?
90 pills away from a healthy life.
90 pills a day to ease my strife.
90 in the way, when I'm with you.
90 pills a day to make it through.
Tell me it's normal, tell me it's alright,
That I take all these meds each day and night.
It's all for the best, it'll make things right.
There's a long road ahead, so hold on tight.
Can't live a day without poppin' the pills.
90 a day don't it give you the chills?
Ah, why can't I live without you?
I don't deserve this, what did I do?
Drug me up to make me normal.
Drug me up to make me you.
OK this one requires some explanation. I don't like doctors or medications, but 90 a day is a total exaggeration of what I'm on. I take 3 a day. Also the word "you" refers to 4 different things in this poem/song. In the chorus, the first stanza which is repeated, "you" refers to my love. In the second stanza "you" refers to me. The first time in the last stanza "you" refers to the pills. The last word "you" refers to a person who conforms, a "normal" person.
