i never meant to lie

then go and say goodbye

I know you don't understand
why i said my goodbyes
it was because it hurt so much
to have to look into your eyes

I was sick of acting
like everything was OK
like nothing ever happened
like there was nothing else to say

Because even though it's over
theres still things you don't know
still lies I've kept inside
about me creeping on the low

The first thing i want to say
is please don't hate me 4 what i done
the past is in the past
and telling you now it isn't no fun

There are still 2 guys and 2 lies
that you don't know about
so I'm here to tell you everything
the truth without a doubt

With the first dude
i was to drunk to know what i was doing
i wasn't in my right mind
to know who i was screwing

With the second guy it was crazy
because he played me until content
i guess i just jumped stupid
and fell victim to his pimp

The first lie that i told you
had to do with Aaron
he was the piece of the puzzle
that straight made me stop caring

The second lie came out my mouth
was about you and me
i told you we was better as friends
and that we wasn't meant to be

I have no excuse 4 what I've done
or none that you would want to hear
i just pray that you'll forgive me
beacuse thats really all i fear

I'm sorry it took me so long
to tell you all of this
i guess i was just waiting 4 the right time
so maybe no more heartbreak would come from this

But there ain't no need to get mad
because I'll get mines in the end
i just wanted to take the time
to apologize to a friend
