This Woman

by Ashley Redden   Dec 3, 2004

She does her best
Seems like she never gets a rest
She works,cleans,cooks,plus pay the bills
Still he comes home
Blames her for stuff she'd never think to do
She thinks to herself
How could I be
I work 40 hours plus
I clean the house
I make sure he has a hot meal
I pay all the bills
But yet hes not satisfied
And all I get is cursed and abused
All I'm here for is him to use
Finally her prayer as been answered
She's with a man that every woman dreams of
She takes care of their little girl
Cooks and cleans
He works and pays the bills
Glad to come home to a home cooked meal
Gets I love yous in the morning
Kisses for the night
They work together
And it turns out all right
The thought of abuse
Shes forgot all about it now
Cause all she's ever wanted in her life
She couldn't ask for more
Than this simple happy life
