Christmas poem
I didn’t know what to do
As the words came tumbling out of her mouth,
Its can’t be
but it is,
Santa, is a
fake.
Where did all the Christmas magic go?
Is it hidden beneath falling snow?
I stood there in a daze.
My mom trying to tell me, it will be ok
But she can’t
The tears are already falling
Staining my frosted white cheeks

We all should know that feeling
when something you care bout
is taken away.
At first I though it couldn’t be
true
Santa is real,
you’ll see
Don’t you watch the shows on t.v?
There’s the big,fat,jolly man
singing away

I loved him dearly,
I even wrote him a thank-you card,
but
never
got a reply,
now in fact,
I know why

I still can’t belive it,
it can’t be true
I will even do
handwriting tests to
prove to you,
my mom quietly took
out a pen & beings to write
”Dear Sharon,
Im sorry you had to find out this way,
please stop crying everything will be ok,
What the kids told you at school is true,Santa isn’t real
but his spirit lives in you”

And with that said,
my last tear fell,
it seems I have been unleashed
from this spell
you don’t need Santa to make
Christmas
a joy
or to bring happiness
to all girls & boys
All you need is something
that makes you belive
& this I say is true,
the Christmas spirit
is everywhere
Even in you.
