Today as I look at the calendar date
For a minute I forget all of the hate
I remember when I got a first glance of you
And how my heart stopped, did yours too?
You stopped for a minute to look me up and down
Then smiled and came over, the guy of my dreams found
We skated hand-in-hand and when we stepped off the rink
You held me and kissed me, my heart began to sink
Your arm still around me as I waited for my ride
Standing in the dark I couldn't help but smile wide
I never wanted to leave I only wanted you
But as time went on there wasn't much that I could do
As I tried to sleep the night replayed again
Couldn't wait until tomorrow because I'd see you then
But now three months later I'm still thinking of that night
As we sat on the curb and you held me tight
You never wanted to leave but in the end you went
Now I sit here alone remembering our time spent
So today December three
Would be our three month anniversary
