I watch you from across the room
But as you glanced up, I looked away
Afraid of what I'd find in your eyes
Or more important, what they wouldn't say

I wish every minute of every day
That I could tell you how I feel
But whenever I think of what to say
My heart stops working, I cant breathe

You have no idea how frustrating
That this life is, how it plays out
How insignificant I am here
How little I effect, day in and day out

At night there is nothing to distract me
From the pain I suppress in the day
Nothing to detract me from bad memories
To help me escape from the pain

Today I saw you with another
I was surprised that the pain that I felt
Whats worse is I know I have no right too
My heart is shattered, I know I need help

You have no idea how much it hurts
When you completely look through
My body, My eyes and My Soul
So empty, beaten black and blue

You go for the younger, appearance
Yet I cant help how I feel
Or how breath speeds up when I see you
And how my heart breaks as you leave

Why do I always find
The one who never will see
Who can't be bothered to look beyond the surface
Or get to know the real me

I long for a day that you will
That your heart could openly share
And your feelings could come out of the darkness
How many ways I could show you I care

'It's impossible to die from a broken heart'
But how i wish that they'd know
The pain that i feel every minute, every day
And how I can never let it show

unfortunatly this is from experience, and i wish every day for the courage to tell him how i feel.
