Caught beneath my shadow
with rain pouring down on me.
I listen as nature speaks.
Running in the dark
with stars that shine so bright
you can make it longer
just stay holding tight.
Falling in the distance
without his sweet embrace.
Twined with fine silk lace.
Hard to remember details upon his face.
Lying and cheating without any grace.
Lord guides me with the fog filling the area around me.
Leading me into a field of flowers so beautiful and smell so sweet.
But still realizing the obvious.
Crouching to one knee,
Crying,
with your rain pouring down on me.
Hearing a call from my savior
But not finding him outside this nightmare.
I've lost my hearing
with my heart beating so fast I can't
breath.
I search and I find nothing .
Nothing but the shadow that I'm caught beneath.
