Daddy's Little Girl...

by Laura   Dec 4, 2004

Tears still form in my eyes
After all these years
When you walked out the door
And left me here to grieve.

You told mum you were sorry
And you would be back in a few days
But i knew you were lying
Because of the way you behaved.

I never really did understand
Why you chose to leave
Maybe you didn't want me
Maybe you were deceived.

I still often wonder
If you still care
I still even think about
What we used to share.

I'm a grown girl now
But i really need my dad
I long for the relationship
That we once had.

Now my heart is aching
For the love that we onced shared
I'm still daddy's little girl
For as long as he has cared.
