A dying rose

by Winter   Dec 4, 2004

Lost love is like a dying rose
Once so beautiful
Then all hope is lost
And life begins to die

One pedal at a time
Soon to all be gone
Nothing left
No longer a rose

Once love is gone
Nothing will be the same
Everything has been lost
Just like the rose

The pedals are so tender
Just like a broken heart
But its still the same rose
It once was

A beautiful rose
Can not be forgotten
Neither can a beautiful person
With a beautiful heart

A beautiful rose
A beautiful person
Soft tender pedals
Soft tender heart

All the same
Not treated with care and love
All hope wil faid
And love will slowly die

Love is like a dying rose
Slowly
Painfully
And never forgotten

My pedals are falling
But hope isn't lost
Nothing but a rose bush
Beautiful and still tender

Treat my love with care
Roses are beautiful
Still so tender
And never ment to be forgotten
