Emily's Case

A nice little neighborhood
Everyone in a good mood
But one little house
Stood above the others

Their family was strange
They never changed
But something happened
One night

Someone called in
And reported what they herd
They found a little girl
Abandon there

Her name is Emily
She had twirling thoughts
About her family

She goes to school
And tries to act cool
By putting a smile
On her face

Day after day
He hides in disgrace
Trying to hide the frown
Underneath her skin

They send her to guidance
The lady seems nice
She says, “Sit down Emily
My name is Ms. Find, What’s going on?”

Emily looked up
Her eyes red
From the burning tears
And tells her not to tell anyone

She promises
And Emily sits
And tells her story
It goes like this

“ I go home
It’s like my own dead tomb
My mommy is on the couch
She is always passed out
Because she drinks
A little to much

My daddy is in the back yard
Getting high
So he can fly
Above the Co-workers

My brother Mike
Lives far away
Somewhere called heaven
I think he left me here
To put up with them both

Last time I saw him
Him and daddy were in a fight
Daddy hit him with all his might
The last I saw of him
He was sleeping on the floor
He looked bloody and bruised
I haven’t seen him since
Its like he disappeared
Into thin air

I worry about him
And pray for him every night
To be my light
And take me away
Far from this place

After that mommy wakes up
And starts to have a drunken fight
She yells at him for never helping
Daddy’s eyes turn pitch black
Sometimes it feels as if he is in some kind of trance
He starts shacking in ferry

I hear them yelling
I feel like I’m in hell
I wrap my self in covers
Than hover under the bed
And try not to shed one tear

I hear the pleading of my mother
And I’m wrapped up all in fear
It happens every night
A sat for last night
Mommy didn’t come into my room
And tell me everything is going to be alright
All I hear is daddy saying
“Good reddens B****”

Daddy comes into my room
And reaches under the bed
He tells me
He is fed up with me
Always pouting and whining

He pulls me out from under my bed
By my hair
He says, “Mommy is gone forever
She went with your brother”
He told me he was going out
Out to the lake
To get rid of that fake mother of mine

I go to sleep
Than daddy comes in
And hands me a drink
He told me it was good grape juice
And I better drink it all

I do as he says
And he tells me he’s proud
But I feel like I’m going to fall
He tells me to trust him
And I wonder what he is talking about
He says close your eyes
I have a surprise

I feel him unbuttoning my shirt
And he tells me I’m such a flirt
I go with it
Not trying to make him mad
But it don’t feel right

I open my eyes
And asks in fright
“Daddy is this right?”
He doesn’t answer
Just stares at her chest
Than kisses me
Telling me I’m his little girl

Now that never happened before
He took down his pants
And he told me this might hurt
I sat there in shock
And he pushed me down

I don’t know what happened
But it hurt so much
He was kissing on me
While I was bleeding below
I felt like I
Was some kind of show

My daddy left for the night
After he was done
Moving up and down
Inside of me

The same night
Some men came and found me
They tell me all these lies
About everything going to be alright
But I haven’t told anyone
And earthier can you
It was a promise

Ms. Find was shocked by what was said and done
She asked her why hasn’t she told anyone before
Emily moved up her sleeve
And rubbed a huge scare
That covers half her arm
And says,
“You cant you’ll get hit by the frying pan
If you say one thing out of line”

Ms. Find looks at Emily
And feels so bad
She had to giver her a hug
When she raised up her hands
To rape around her
Emily Screamed “Please don’t hurt me!!!!”

Ms. Find explained what she was doing
Emily started shacking
And told her no one has ever done that before
Ms. Find excused her
Telling her to come back
Before she goes home
Emily hurried back to class
Ever so fast

Ms. Find called the police
And told them about the stuff she got told
And to look at the lake
To see what they can find
