The True Meaning of Christmas ...

by MirMir   Dec 4, 2004

You know it's that special time of year,
when jingle bells you start to hear.
When the snow outside begins to fall,
and everyone rushes out to the malls.

For most this is a happy time of year,
but for some it's filled with fear.
The fear the bills won't get paid,
and Christmas gifts will have to me home-made.

But Christmas isn't about what you give and get,
it's about the memories you will never forget.
It's about the smiles, laughter, and cheer,
the kind that's special to this time of year.

And don't forget the ones above,
and all the others that you still love.
One more thing before I part,
the true meaning of Christmas is found in your heart.
