I know it's short but please read.

For Jescelle

You came and said hello to me,
You said you’d give advice,
You didn't even know my name,
You had never even seen my face,

I've told you part of my situation,
You told me part of yours,
You talk to me without prejudice,
I don’t need to show you cuts and sores,

I don’t have to face you everyday,
I don’t have to try and explain,
But you are there to talk to,
If my friends aren't helping again,

I appreciate the help and support,
From others that don’t know,
I appreciate the kind words and thoughts,
From the people who I don’t show,

Talking to someone who understands,
Or if they don’t, they don’t have to,
Everyone that leaves a helping hand,
It makes it easier, even if it don’t seem true,

I know most of you don’t know me,
Even the ones that do,
I appreciate all the help,
You’re helping me to pull through.
