I still miss you(true story)

My bus driver broke the news
One day as I got on the bus
she told me what happened
she said that you had left us

at first i thought it was all a dream
and thought it wasn't true
but i guess it all was real
cuz we all really lost you

i don't know what went on that night
and if you had been drinking
i wish that you could all come back
was one of you not thinking?

when i heard i was unable to speak
and hardly catch my breath
sorry i did'nt go to your funeral
i didn't want to think of your death

your brother reminds me of you
more and more each day
i want to talk of how great you were
but i don't know what to say

i think of you all the time
and i know that you can see me
i know that you will always smile
we had good times didn't we?

i keep your picture on my shelf
for times when i really miss you
it still feels like yesterday
but it's been a year or two

I will always remember good times
and things you did for friends
in my heart i save a place
and your memory never ends.
