Don't Forget

by Emily   Dec 6, 2004

You’re always looking for that
Way to get out. Looking for your
Chance to break free. To set
Out on your own and start over.
When you do start over don’t
Forget me. Don’t forget all the
Times we’ve shared.

You say your sick of all this
Confusion. You just want to
Move on and forget about it all.
To cover up the pain and sorrow.
Please, don’t forget me. Don’t
Forget the smiles we’ve had.

You say you can’t wait for the
Future, but what about our past?
The times we laughed about nothing,
Until our stomach hurt and our eyes
Watered. The times we cried, but
We were always there for each other.

So as time moves on, have fun,
And do what you have to. Please what
Ever you do don’t forget about me,
Don’t forget about us.
