My heart longs for that day
When we will meet again
And all of this I write to say
Thank you from me and my pen
A tear emits from one eye,
The other is filled to the brim,
And from my lungs escapes a sigh
As another day ends.
But these tears are now from happiness,
The sighs are from relief
For I feel no more lonliness
Or long nights filled with grief.
