As you walk by,
I once again catch that glimpse in your eye.
It's as though the whole world had stopped,
until out moment popped.

We both looked away at the very same time,
I still pray to God wishing you could have been mine.

Only for that single night did i get to hold your body close.
When it comes right down to it, its your eyes I miss the most.

You looked at me so deeply that night, I could have sworn we would never fight.

But something was changed, it all got different.
I learned love isn't always ment.

Now were at that point where you can't even say hi,
you just pass right on by.

We could have been special, it could have been new,

I now know its all too late for that. But when i saw you, all those feelings came back.
