The ocean, its waves crashing against the rocks
The sun, the heat beaming down on the ground
The sand, softly swiveling through my toes
The sound of the sea, the birds are all squawking
Family's around, all enjoying the beach and its wonderful enjoyment
A hot summers day, swimming at the beach
Swimming in the nice cool water
Building sandcastles
Little children running around playing games
Granddad loved the beach, the sound, the smell and the view
He loved the sandiness, the way the waves formed
the sand in his toes, the breeze on his face

My granddad was a good man, he lived a good life
He had a good heart, good children and wife
He talked to me a lot, he spoiled me rotten
We loved him a lot, He loved us lots to
you've gone to a good place now granddad
This place is called heaven
you will never be forgotten

You are my granddad, nothing has changed
You may not be by my side but i no you are still here with me
