Seen him today

I seen him today
shouted his name
looked at me and smiled
still weren't the same
I think he has noticed
the distance that’s there
not sure if he's bothered
not sure if he cares
he's got another girlfriend
his ex's best friend
wonder how long
until this one will end
I don't think he loves her
just after some fun
wish I could say the same
but it just isn't done
I can't get on with my life
cause he's causing me pain
all I think about is him
but he don't think the same
I don't understand
why I’m feeling this way
he did this to me
yet still I pay
I wish that just maybe
he could for a minute be me
just so maybe
he might be able to see
I can't help what I’m feeling
it's just sort of there
