Offers

by Michael D Nalley   Dec 6, 2004

Many of us, who pretend to be neglected
When offered love, the offer is then rejected
Hope of the future is often times dejected
But I believe this problem can be corrected

A problem to be solved, must first be detected
I believe all problems are somehow connected
We eat forbidden fruit, and we become infected
We are constantly offered fruit, fruit that is selected

We may select forbidden fruit, as I have often done
This fruit has been a problem since mankind was begun
Thank God we have the fruit of the vine offered by the Son
The precious Blood of Jesus Christ offered to everyone
