My Poem

When I saw you and her together, I was jealous.
I wanted something that you two had, something precious
Then suddenly you came into my life and you gave me a glance,
That’s when I knew I had my chance.
Everything wen’t to quick and I took you for seriously.
You might think I used you
But that’s not true
I still have feelings for you

How come we don’t talk anymore?
You always used to look my way
Now I don’t even see you, or hear from you through-tout the day.

My memories of you are fading
My heart without you is bleeding
I’m trying to hid away the tears but inside I’m crying

I had such a great weekend and now I’ve changed
I know Jesus better than ever before
I love him so much and I want more

I don’t need any Knight and shining armour for me
Because truly he’s already fallen of his hoarse
People still pity me and give me remorse
But I’ve forgotten about the past

I feel like I’m running a race, trying to get there to fast
So I’m just going to take it slowly and hopefully
With Jesus I’ll be happy.
