Die before it's too late

My heart is simply breaking
And it's pouring out my eyes
As I look into the mirror
I'm drowned in all the lies

My bones are simply aching
I can feel it when I walk
The way they tense and buckle
When I move, break, or talk

This life is running low
On resources to let me survive
I'm plummeting into eternity
Where no one makes it out alive

I'm screaming on a barren shore
Begging for some sort of relief
A place where I can live
Off of hoping, and belief

My eyes are blood shot, and swollen
My posture is keeling over
These two feet are scarred
My face is cold from bare exposure

Embarrassed looks find my mouth
And trace it with their hands
Telling me it's not worth it
And no one understands

My tears, they just keep coming
I try to get them to halt
But the streams remain to fall
And I'm not sure what's at fault

My body feels so empty
My legs are blistered and numb
I'm trying to escape the pain
But there's nowhere left to run

Pushed away by everyone
Left behind countless times before
I want to trust a soul
But not one of them is pure

So kill me before this body breaks-
In pieces and cannot breathe
Let me die in peaceful slumber
Lord, I'm asking you .. please.
