The Will of God

by Afshin   Dec 7, 2004

Well a brave warrior lay dieing
with his weapon by his side
his peers and team stood crying
watching him closely as he died

As they turned away
leaving him alone to stay
Satin appeared and said,
"By the flames of hell
this warrior shall
burn down hot and dead!"

A lightning bolt hit the ground
and God himself appeared
he replied in a loud and booming sound, " How DARE you take my peer?"

The devil smiled and sighed.
Then he looked at God and replied,
"Well I got him first
so you can do your worst
but I'm not letting this one slide!"

God looked at the sky
then looked down and replied,
"This time you've crossed the line.
For this warrior's on our side
so with me abide
you evil foe of mine!"

The devil look straight at God
and calmly looked up and said,
"Then if your need is so broad
then we shall fight for this Tod
and may the loser lie down dead!"

God knew satin would fall
and die once and for all
but he raised his head and then he said,
"We shall fight without no stall"

Without a another glance,
he raised up his lance
as he aimed it as the devil's chest
standing in his stance of rest.

He fought without any rest
and smited at the devil's vest
until the devil had fallen down
for the spear had pierced his chest.

The devil's blood
began to flood
as he slowly got up and said,
"O God O God you have smitten me down
for I am falling dead."

The legend still lives about
a brave warrior that lay dieing
with his weapon by his side
his peers and team stood crying
watching him closely as he died.
