I want to see the sky
in it's most beautiful blue
and i want to be okay

i want it to not matter
what its like without you here
i want the sun to shine down
with it's warmest, brightest light
i want to heal this broken heart
and for me to be alright
i want all the pain to go away
and the memory to fade in time
i want to be content with the fact
that you're never going to be mine
i want to remember how it felt
to be in complete happiness
i want to forget what it was like
to ever feel like this
i want to say its all okay
because you don't hurt me any longer
i want to say I've never felt better
and I've gotten so much stronger
i want to smile when i think of you
and ill maybe even sigh
i want to know exactly where I'm going
even if theres no you and i
i want to not think twice
when and if you call
i want to be the best i can be
without you hurting me at all
i want to remember you in a way
where things are only good
i want to even be your friend
if someday we ever could
i want to turn away from you
and walk in the other direction
i want to love someone else
without seeing your reflection
but most of all i jus want to end this
and with that, i wish you very well
