From the other side

From the other side

If you can hear me,
Then I hope you don’t fear me,
I mean no harm.

And if you can still feel me,
I pray that you be only,
Remembering my charms.

If I
Ever forgot to tell you
That
I was only holding on for you…
Now you know.

And from the other side,
I trust my words to your ears will fly,
Along the forlorn winds in the night,
A ray of light,
When you close your eyes.

I saw that sad day,
Everyone unhappy,
They turned their collars to the rain.

I watched as you saw me,
Still and quiet and lonely,
And nothing was the same.

If I
Never got around to,
Calling,
Well I swear that I meant to.

And from the other side,
I trust my words to your ears will fly,
Along the forlorn winds in the night,
A ray of light,
When you close your eyes.

In the fall,
When leaves turn red,
You’ll hear my calls,
Echo in your head,
Wishing it all,
Was just a dream,
Upon the wall,
There’s my writing.

And from the other side,
I trust my words to your ears will fly,
Along the forlorn winds in the night,
A ray of light,
When you close your eyes.
