You're mine....in my dreams

Last night i fell asleep & i had the strangest dream
I'm my dream i awoke & found you by my side
You were so real, the moonlight in your eyes beam
I'm so in love, your world was mine as the sands crashed in the tides

You look at me, smiled and wrapped me in your arms
I felt so loved, my emotions are rushing in
Is this real?
Am I still dreaming?
You whispered to my ears the words that could make my inner soul take its flight
I closed my eyes & prayed that this moment will have no ending

Then i awoke for the second time & i realized that the moment i shared with you was just a dream
Tears filled my eyes..i thought it was real...in my dreams you love me too
So, I took a walk down the shore all alone accepting the reality that your heart I'll never win
You're in love with someone else..its not me... If only you love me too

As the sands touch my feet & the tides begin to reign in the sea again
I walk back home with a lonely heart & said to myself someday i can forget you
Maybe not today...not tomorrow...but soon it will happen
Until that day comes I'll be seeing you in my dreams...
because in my dreams you were mine.
