The Dark

by Amanda Smith   Dec 7, 2004

A demon of life
The underworld
Waiting to grab
Your very self
Sucking you in
Turning you round
Making you do stuff
Hurting yourself
Cheap lies are told
To make you believe
Deep in this hell
Where you'll always be
Lies, Deciet
It does hurt
Make it stop

A devil dwells
In the deep dark
Stop believing
Stop the marks
A hellish place
Stories untold
Don't give into his words
Keep your life your own
Devil work
Doesn't pay off
Stop the work
Of the dark

A demon now
Lies inside you
Taking over
The things you do
Making you do
The very bad
Turning things around
Removing the glad
A devils work done
You're now through
Now he leaves
From inside you
