hmm...i do believe in God. sometimes i have second thoughts which i try to banish from my mind but they still linger. i dont think anyone can answer if there is a heaven or not. but i believe in some heaven more like the divine without a name for its blissfulness. |

i have the same questions and i don't think we'll ever know that answer in this life time |

I think this was an excellent poem, very well written. I liked the use of poetic expression to explore some poignant questions about God & religion. |

excellent poem. i really enjoyed it, very captivating. as for an answer to your question, well...im not the person to give you that answer. i personally dont believe in God, and i never have, nor ever will. i do believe that the answers to some of life's more difficult questions lie within one's self. so look deep inside to figure out what you think. you have amazing talent, keep it up! |

I really like ths poem because i find myself doubting god all the time. i think that church is a joke and i dislike organized religons. in my opinion religions are made to keep people in line and people for some reason like to believe that there is a higher god and that they will have somewhere nice to go when they die. and the reason why people like to believe that god takes away their "sins" is because most people dont like living knowing how messed up they really are. |

but i guess i just stay nuetral on the whole god situation because neither side and no religions can really prove anything. |
well often times i have felt like you do Nookie but there comes a point in life when you just know the answer but its called faith why we believe. i do not go to church nor do i read a Bible (full of contradictions) but i have my Lord to look up to...never had a real religion, my whole family is basically Baptist but i try to stand out above em and find me not who they want me to be. Only you can say what you believe yet the real answers are in that heart of yours. |
Wow. Great write, first off...now my opinion, I don't have an answer for you, no one should have an answer, everyone has different thoughts. I have different opinions, Sometimes I believe he's up there and then theres times I believe he is and he's doing this to our world, and sometimes I don't think he even exists. Depends on my mood I guess...But no one should be able to give you a final answer...sorry this is long. Wondrous poem xxxxxxx |
