It's day after day
That I look all around
My shadow runs away
As the sun covers ground

My heart beats slower and slower
Wandering why I am here
The beating gets lower and lower
Something I've always feared

It's the outside link to my soul
That plainly does it all
It drains me of complete control
And so I have no choice but to fall

My heart breathing shallow-easy
My body taking a hard fall
My soul as plain as can be
I try to think and recall

Who am I
Why this fear
Where am I
Why am I here

Nothing
A blank draws in my mind
I've got nothing
Where am I, have I been left behind
