Cupids Christmas

by Smiggles   Dec 8, 2004

Constantly wishing upon a star,
Up above behind the clouds.
Prayer’s unanswered by the unknown clause.
Insisting on something magical,
Dreaming of a mystical land.
Still waiting on a dream, a prayer to come his way.

Crying helplessly in hopes of a wish come true.
Hoping his tears will be heard over the cry of his prayers.
Resolving situations that have been wrong in the past.
Insisting on dreams to come true.
Still hoping,
To make things right and
Make the things work but still he
Answers to calls of love,
Still sending arrows, to the wrong open hearts.
