Long to Be Alone?

by Krete   Dec 8, 2004

"Solitude, a word without action,
a play played by many without satisfaction.

Its a thing we all do.
The solitude doo.

Its something we all wear,
its that thing that keeps us in despair.

Its that violent outburst in the store,
the creation of self abhore.

Solitude is the 'long' to be alone,
lost forever in eternal stone.

Its the scar we leave on disturbed,
only to deepen, and to our cause be heard.

Its that tool we all use,
to ruin ourselves,
and hurt others.

Its that thing that we all do,
its that thing that ruins mothers.

Solitude will set off life,
eventually to the root,
It will sever..."

These were the thoughts,
that entered his mind.

As in the mirror,
he slowly watched himself Die.

Wow. A hypothetical thought expands and broods, but the end revelation is totally unexpected. A great theme explored, well written, with an unsettling ending. Again, wow.
