My skin

by Lushed   Dec 8, 2004

My skin has been ripped open.
I lost the will to fight.
My skin has been ripped open.
I got lost in my plight.
My skin has been ripped open.
I place my secrets on my wrist.
My skin has been ripped open
By depression I have been kissed.
My skin has been ripped open.
It's eating at my soul.
My skin has been ripped open.
In my arm I dig a hole.

The earth, the ground are shaking,
as I tear myself apart.
I'm ripping my skin open.
I try to save my broken heart.

On my skin my secrets show.
For I can't find another place.
On my skin my secrets show.
I'm trying, you see, to let you know.

My skin has been ripped open.
It's all over now.
My skin has been ripped open.
I don't know how I could allow.

My skin has been ripped open!!
The guilt!
It clouds my eyes!!
My skin has been ripped open!!
These jagged scars?!
THEY are my prize??

My skin has been ripped open.
My secrets forever engraved.
My skin has been ripped open.
but still..
No one is saved.
