Love Revengence

by jenni   Dec 8, 2004

I look to you and my fears reduce
I warm to your heart, so humble
I pray to just touch your face
But when I walk to you, I stumble.

I reach out to stroke your hair so soft,
To feel your overly smooth skin
Knowing I cannot even hold you
Steadily increases my pain within.

All I want is to be with you
For you to think of me in your head
But you cannot think of me, can you?
Your mind is full of her instead.

The way she waltzed into your life
Seems like what in a movie I'd see
After all those years I'd constantly
Tried to make you be with little old me.

If only she could go away
Go away from you, so your mine
I just want her to leave you alone
Run far and never look behind.

I can get rid of her an easy way
Everyone thinks she's a star
I could get my revenge so sweetly
Ensure she has gone afar.

Then you would not have her
You'd have to find someone new
Then guess who would be here to comfort thee
I'd wipe your tears for you.

You would love me because I respected your pain
I'd hold you towards me tight
And when you lay upon your bed
You'd dream of me at night.

I think I am quite a genius
I'll rid you of her tomorrow
And darling when you need to cry
I'll be here to share your sorrow.
