Song of the soul

Song of the soul

There’s a song that’s inside of my soul,
Embedded in my heart,
It seals me as your own and tells me I am yours.

It’s your breath that I am breathing,
It’s by your will that I am living.
You’re a faithful god you will never leave,
Why is your heart after me?

I have sinned but you’ve forgiven,
Taking my shame away from me.
Id like to tread humbly before you,
Lord as I bow lift me to you.

I want to be in love with you,
Just fill my life with trust and faith,
And my song shall sing your name.

hi, thanks for your helpful comment.i didnt write my poem to influence you. i wrote it one day when i needed reasurance of my faith.i dont mean to be rude but dont you think its weird why if a 'faith' u deem as being so bad has such a massive effect as to be able to 'run society'?
