Summer Turns to Fall

by xXxIf You Only KnewxXx   Dec 9, 2004

The bright green leaves turn yellow
As summer turns to fall
There go the lady and fellow
Walking towards the ball

The soft wind sweeps by
The leaves rustle gently
The Blue Jay sounds its cry
But just so gently

The cold is not yet bitter
As the birds will tell you
Around the air they flitter
The animals will tell you too

The leaves fall from the trees
All the children are happy
And they ask please
To play in the leaves because they are constantly yapping

Nothing lasts forever
Nothing you can do
Nothing lasts forever
Good things must pass too

The bright green turns to yellow
As summer turns to fall
The leaves turn to yellow
As they all fall
