Untitled

*nothing in my right mind makes me even consider this a poem.. rather just what my thoughts consisted of a year ago... (which means i wrote this probably a while ago..) if you realized i don't really have any poetry that was written this year.. *

Here I lie
on this floor...
These cold tiles making me shake.
A picture of you at my side...
I told you I'd say goodbye.
My whispering in your ear,"I can't take this anymore..."
If only you could see your girl...
sprawled out on this floor.
If only you could've reached her sooner...
If only you could've caught her tears flowing across her visage...

I kissed you that night...
That one fragile moment when time stood still.
I watched the stars with you...
and treasured every second.
You asked me what was wrong...
though you had not the slightest idea.
My reply was,"Nothing."
But as you started to sigh,
In my head I knew I lied.

So here I am...
Wrists are stinging
Face soaked
Looking for an end to my problems...
My head is floating
my limbs, numbing.
And all I see is you.
I can feel your warm embrace...
I'm leaving now...
and all i can do is mutter," I love you."

THE END OF MY MISERY

Good poem, you've really got a gift for words, even when they don't rhyme, your poems just flow! Keep writing! Peace

ah haha... but its sooo old! its not even good..
yeah i suppose it could be untitled.. some of my poems just don't have titles. .. *shrug* lol.
whats even worse is that this is how i've actually been feeling lately.. i mean about life in general.
some of this "poem" actually happened... which makes me utterly sad. but oh well...

Aww... that's so good! But so sad. You are a very good writer. Is the name of this poem supposed to be "Untitled"? Just wondering.
