Stormwatch

by FTS Miles   Dec 9, 2004

When two fronts clash,
fire and ice warring skyward,
thence arises the storm.

And the more pitched,
more juxtaposed the fronts,
the more violent the tempest.

Two fronts now collide,
crests of old and new warring
for the foundations of Future.

So let our hearts now be watchful
lest we take our intemperate polarity
and make of it a perfect storm.

You have such a way with words. I love how you are able to put something together and make it so lovely. The imagery in this poem was perfectly tied in and the symbolism was also used wisely. i love the concept ofg a storm, and that you chose such an overwhelming and beautiful subject to write about.

I love your words, they really create a dramatic effect. Good job

You can see the two, bodied fronts colliding...and this war you rage between them chases daggers to rain. A powerful poem.
