The Smile

by Lain   Dec 9, 2004

She stands their in the crowd
with that big smile on her face
but she has gotten use to it
putting that fake smile on
and to everyone it looks real
they all think they know her
the oblivious one
who when they talk about
they don’t think she knows that they're talking about her
but in truth she hears everything
and dose know
but just hides it
with her head screaming at her
for not saying anything
few know the real her
and she wonders
should she show the real her
and not put on the fake smile
but she’s afraid no one will like her
so she keeps going
putting on that smile again
and only showing the few the real her
one day
she tells herself
ill show them the real me
