Lying in my bed,
thinking of you.
So many tears to shed,
not knowing what to do.
I just think of you and I,
being together.
But i soon start to cry,
because you said never.
And because you said that one thing,
which stabbed me in the heart.
I began believing,
that my life was torn apart.
And now because of you,
i dont believe in life.
And now because of you,
I picked up that knife.
Many things running through my head,
about you never being there
. but then i remembered what you said,
about the friendship we will always share.
And now because of that little phrase,
I threw that knife down.
I remembered the good ole' days,
and there's no longer a frown
.I do love you....as a friend,
with all of my heart.
There are more times to spend,
And nothing will ever keep us apart.
