Your Painting

by xX Toxic Cure Xx   Dec 10, 2004

Stars in the sky
Painted on the canvas
Seem to cry

Their tails weep
With sparkly tears
Showing secrets they cant keep

Trees slowly die
Showing the pain
They don't even try to lie

This was the last
Picture we made
A memory of the past

You held my hand
With every stroke
So vivid, not at all bland

I remember the way
You kissed away the tears
And said you'd be there everyday

I couldn't even see your pain
Locked up in my own problems
I had become so vain

Then I saw it all
When I found you in the bathtub
So weak you couldn't even crawl

Your eyes looked at me
With a happiness
Now your finally free

My tears dripped down
Onto the blood in the bath
Not echoing a sound

The black grass
Shows a darkness
Which seems to last

The pale moon
Lights up the deadly night
Caring a sad solem tune

Then I see something
Something that pushes the tears away
Makes my heart sing

The words I'll love you forever
Are inscribed on the side
I'll never forget you, never
