Best Friends Never Last Forever

We used to be close then he came along then I was basically someone you associated with. It hurts you would give it up to him. I know you say you love him but love is blind and so are you. I have tried to ignore what I knew was happening forever, how I wish I could but I can\\\'t. Sometimes I want to call you and be able to talk to you like we were as close as we used to be. But the past doesn\\\'t matter anymore. The only thing that matter is the future even if you chose not to be in it. Because I know best friends never last forever.
