Last Words

I’ve been searching this world for the answers I seek.
Years of searching has left me empty handed and weak.
I stand-alone in this dark hour and cry on the inside.
There’s a piece of my heart missing that brings the pain.

Won’t you cure my tragedy and take the pain away.
I hope that you can hear me scream calling you my way.
I cant live any longer as an empty soul with nothing left.
Sorrow seems to be the only thing that I have left to live with.

Hatred settled in and now controls my weary conscious.
My heart has turned black and there’s no going back.
The darkness talks to me as I walk along the path alone.
Its words of hate trap my mind and feed me deception.

How much longer will you wait to look down and see?
See what your tardiness and blinded eyes are doing to me.
Every second that I waste just pulls me further down.
Please act quickly, for I do not wish to spend eternity in darkness.
