Cutting, it's something I do
to relieve the pain I feel from you
the tears they run down my face
cutting takes me to another place
a place where everything is great
a life served on a golden plate

when all the other children taunt
cutting, it takes me away
to get through another day
a day I don't feel real good
it makes me feel like I should

when all the little monsters feed
it hurts so bad deep down inside
there's a hole in my heart a mile wide
cutting takes the pain and brings it out
so I don't have to scream and shout
