I remember when we met
for the very first time
The light in your eyes
mirrored what I felt in mine
Our meeting was brief
A smile and a wave
but I'll never forget
what I felt on that day.
And ever since then
I've felt It was true

Those five months of time
when we were together
I never felt lonely
I've never felt better.

back to that time

that awful day
