Falling Stars

by Astoria   Dec 12, 2004

Take my hand, we'll go chase down a falling star.

the whisper in the wind calls to me...

You let your life spill over me. Blocking the surface.
I suffocated under you.
Who said I ever cared?

No surprise.
You could always see through me.
I always have cared...
thats my problem

Bathed in light...the pain is never-ending.
I retreat back to darkness.
The dark consumes me but yet, I feel numb.

As if morphine was running through my veins…
I can’t feel.

Scrub me of your touch
Burn me from your embrace
Erase me from your memory.
Whatever you do I won’t forget.
You are the only reality in my mind.
