I don’t need your sympathy
Just to feel alive
With all of the lies and distractions life provides
Could I possibly manage to shun her beautiful face?
Forget her contagious kiss, can my memories of her be erased

Take me away, carry me away
To the blue skies so well portrayed
Her storm approaches, and my blue skies turn Grey
A perfect stranger to something I knew so true
Did she even know me, I’m still waiting to meet you

Standing in the open, with no protection
Flooded by her words, drowned by her affection
I can see her perfect face in the clouds
Crying her eyes out, but crying so proud
The chill of her cold heart freezes her tears
A satisfied expression on her face appears

Well I wished for her to stay and that's what I got
I’m trapped in her twister where the spinning never stops
The waters too cold, I won’t have too fight for long
I lay still and fake death, until her storm passes on

This is the story of a boy without glory
A boy with his heart on his sleeve
This boy has a curse
He can’t stop loving her
Until all of his days are redeemed
