I hate to see you so upset
I don’t know what to do
Seeing you standing there
Staring at the grave
Brought it home to me today
How much I’d miss you so
Yet I guess this is how
You feel each and every day
Knowing you will never see
Or hear them talk again
I see the tear drops start to fall
Sliding down your face
I want to hug you really tight
And tell you it’s alright
Yet I know it really isn’t right
And never will be either
Life is so unfair
And your is no exception
I know it’s never easy,
It’s always on your mind
And never will it leave you be
So this is getting long now
I really out to stop
But just to let you know mum
I think you are so strong
To carry on each day
With the love and care you have
You live your life for others
Never think about yourself
I love you loads and loads
And will always do so too.
