Evil World

When I was just a little girl,
In history class at school,
We started learning about the time,
When Hitler sought to rule.

We looked at pictures of concentration camps,
We didn't like them one bit,
The Jews were treated horribly,
I thought Hitler was a git.

We joked about the Germans,
The evil Nazi lot,
Not knowing that the whole world can be evil,
Maybe we knew, but just forgot.

I didn't listen much,
But something got through,
And now I'm going to pass that knowledge,
Wholly on to you.

All the world is cruel,
English, Irish, Welsh,
And I guess we were young and ignorant,
We thought of nothing else,

The english invented concentration camps,
America wars for oil,
Chinese tortures were awful,
And the whole world wars for soil.

So just because the Germans,
Tried to rule the world,
Doesn't make them better,
Doesn't make them worse.
