Rose Tinted Glass

by Your eyeliner is laughable   Dec 12, 2004

Rose tinted glasses,
Unseeing eyes,
A world full of happiness,
A world full of lies,

Child workers in Ghana,
Vicious murders abroad,
It can't be our fault,
Just pray to there lord.

Wars over oil,
It don't mean a thing,
to you and your kind,
You didn't do anything.

Rose tinted glasses,
Unseeing eyes,
A world full of happiness,
A world full of lies,

You say your not to blame,
You say you didn't do a thing,
Well thats rather the point,
You didn't help or think.

People are still dying,
Crops cannot be sown,
Places are famine stricken,
In case you hadn't known,
But thats ok,
Just sit back,
I'll go and make some tea,
Their clearly is no saving,
This lazy society.

You say your not to blame,
You say you didn't do a thing,
Well thats rather the point,
You didn't help or think.
